The Wim Crouwel Institute organizes the sharing of knowledge about graphic design heritage.

In 2014 the archives of NAGO (Dutch archive of graphic designers) were transferred to the Allard PIerson, the University of Amsterdam. A few tasks of NAGO were adopted by the Wim Crouwel Institute. The Wim Crouwel Institute is supported by the Allard Pierson - the collections of the University of Amsterdam, by the Association of Dutch Designers and by Pictoright Foundation.
